Demystifying Acquisitions

Co-curation of a large scale exhibition at the National Museum of Cardiff.

This project was the first of its kind, dropping the institutional barriers to give young creatives the opportunity to co-curate a room in the large scale exhibition, The Rules of Art?

The project began with the acquisition of Chris Ofili’s North Wales prints, and from there we curated an exhibition diverse in the formats it explored the Welsh landscape. Incorporating the work of young and emerging artists, conversations between artworks from the past and contemporary art today were sparked.
